Portrait and Biographic Record of Famous Oregonians was published in 1903.

The I.O.O.F. Hillsboro Lodge (Montezuma Lodge No. 50) is one of the oldest lodges in the West and was instituted September 16. 1874.
 On February 13, 1930 Robert Henry Greer received the I.O.O.F. 50 year jewel of gold and diamonds.
 He was third member in the state of Oregon and 85th in the United States to receive this prestigious honor.
