Morris Fox Aug. 21, 1896; Oregonian, p 3 "Another Pioneer Gone" Baker City, Aug. 20 Morris Fox, aged 74 years and eight months, died this morning, at 1 o'clock, at his residence in this city. Deceased came to Oregon in 1860, and was engaged in business in Salem for a number of years. Later he pursued farming near East Portland. The remains were sent to Portland on this afternoon's train, and were accompanied by his widow, his son Emanuel, and daughter, Mrs. Isaac Bloch, of Boise City. The stores of all friends were closed during the afternoon, and the body was escorted by them to the train.
