Jennie (Card) Landis April 15, 1930; Oregonian, p 3 Baker, Or., April 14 Mrs. Jennie Card Landis, deputy county clerk for the past four years, died here in her apartment. Miss Jennie Card was born in Logan, Utah, and moved to Baker in 1900 from New Mexico. Mr. Landis, who was general freight and passenger agent for the Sumpter Valley Railway company, died here in December, 1921. Mrs. Landis was a member of Esther chapter No. 11, Order of Eastern Star, the White Shrine of Jerusalem, which is composed of relatives of Shriners, and the Rebekah lodge. She was a past matron of the local Eastern Star chapter, and a past officer of the grand chapter, and of the Presbyterian church. The deceased is survived by a son, Edward A. Landis, of Portland; and a brother, C. O. Card, of Portland. Funeral services will be held in the Presbyterian church tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock under the auspices of the Eastern Star. Interment will be in Mount Hope cemetery.
