Hiram Osborn Nov. 30, 1898; Oregonian, p 6 Last Friday evening Hiram Osborn died at Wingville, Baker county. He came there from Missouri in 1862, and became one of the most widely known of Eastern Oregon pioneers. Until recent years, when he was overcome by the infirmities of age, he was engaged in farming and stock-raising. Until within a short time ago the venerable pioneer daily drove in his carriage six miles from his farm to Baker City. At the time of his demise, Mr. Osborn laced but five months of being 90 years of age.
