Theodore W. Shreffler April 22, 1927; Oregonian, p 24 Baker, Or., April 21 Death claimed another of Baker's few remaining civil war veterans last night when Theodore W. Shreffler died at his home here. Death was due to heart attacks. Mr. Shreffler was born December 2, 1844, in Fremont county, Ohio. He served as a drummer in company I, 76th Ohio regiment. He came west to Dixie, Wash., in 1890. He had lived here about 12 years. The deceased is survived by his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Edith Shields of Baker; four sons, F. A. Shreffler, F. M. Shreffler and O. J. Shreffler, all of Baker, and T. W. Shreffler Jr., of Lewiston, Idaho; a sister, Mary Robinson of Centralia, Wash.; a brother Wallie at Kankakee, Ill., and Rustus of Junction City, Kan.
