This 1811 bible is believed to have belonged to Anna Gregory or to Charles Allen (born 1810). Bible Page 1         Image of Page 1 Births At the top of the first page are large capital letters "A" and "G" that signify Anna Gregory. Anna Gregory was thus born February 28 in the year of our lord, 1776     [may not be correct year] and deceased in the year 1816     [may not be correct year-should be 1820] July the 10th. Her book     [July may be correct but 10th should be 20th, see page 2 for different death date] . Bible Page 2         Image of Page 2 Marriage, Births, Deaths At the top of this page is written "Y" and "yrs". Writing in the margin cannot be read. David Allen     his book     [information apparently from David's bible] was born in the year 1777 in April 20 and was married to Anna Gregory in the year 1802 My son Ezra was born in the year 1803 [not readable] in April my son [not readable,  Hiram?] Horas was born in the year 1808 [not readable] Charles was born in the year 1810 on August 14th and a son born January 15, 1813 and died on the same day and a son born on Feb. 6 and died on the 11th of the same month     [probably 1814 or 1815] My son Alvah was born Feb. 23 1816 My son Josiah Allen was born Oct. 29, 1818     [1816 date listed in "her book"] B and she [??54] I saw Anna Allen deceased on       "A" "A" [written in margin] the 20th July 1820     [Charles Allen,10 yrs old when his mother died, may have been quoted - "I saw my mother dead on July 20, 1820."
