W. H. Boles March 8, 1916; Oregonian, p 9 "Philomath Loses Citizen" W. H. Boles, a prominent ex-official of Philomath, Or., died, February 22, two day after celebrating his 76th birthday. Mr. Boles for 27 years was City Recorder, Justice of the Peace and school clerk of Philomath. He was born in Morganstown, Ind., and served through the war with the Nineteenth Kansas Cavalry. Besides his wife he leaves the following sons and daughters: C. A. Boles, Central Point; Mrs. Ella B. Jones, Portland; B. H. Boles, Portland; A. H. Boles, Philomath; Mrs. Horace Underhill, Summit; Mrs. A. W. Gray, Philomath; Mrs. Guy Frink, Philomath; Mrs. Elbert Thompson, Salem, and Mrs. A. H. Rowe, Salem.
