"Salem Pioneer is Dead"

   Margaret R. Crawford died in this city last night at the age of 75 years.  She came to Oregon with her husband, Captain J. W. Crawford in 1866 and settled in Salem.
   With the exception of four years spent in Dallas, they lived in Salem till 1897, when they moved to Corvallis, where they have since resided.
   Three children survive, the Misses Mayme and Emma Crawford, of this city, and Edward Crawford, of Portland.  Funeral services will be held in Corvallis Friday forenoon.
