O. P. Goodall Jan. 13, 1915; Oregonian, p 11 O. P. Goodall, who died at Corvallis January 9, was an Oregon pioneer of 1853. He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Kittie Turner. Mr. Goodall, 86 years old, was a veteran of the Mexican War. He had served as County Judge and Assessor of Union county and later was a member of the State Board of Equalization. He was identified prominently with the State Grange and the Farmers' Alliance in this state. Judge Goodall was born in Jefferson County, Missouri, August 1, 1828. He enlisted when 18 years old in General Price's army and marched with that command through to Matamoras. He first came to Oregon in 1853, and, after returning twice to Missouri, settled permanently in this state in 1859, living most of the time in Union and Linn Counties. For the last two years he lived at Brownsville. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Grace A. Goodall, four daughters and six sons. The bereaved children are: Mrs. W. E.
