   Richard Haverland, aged 45, who died Sunday at his home south of Halsey, was buried yesterday at the Baptist Cemetery at Brownsville. Mr. Porter Elmore, of this city, preached the funeral service. Mr. Haverland was born in the state of Illinois. His father was one of the first settlers in this country, and he raised a large family in the vicinity of Brownsville. Mr. Haverland is survived by his wife and five children.
