Mabel A. Newth

   The death of Mrs. Mabel A. Newth, wife of Dr. Newth, occurred at her home in Philomath, Monday.  Interment occurred at the Newton cemetery, Wednesday.  Mrs. Newth was born in Iowa, October 4, 1857.  She was married to Dr. Newth in Kansas, December 25, 1880.  The family moved to Oregon in 1889, settling in Vernonia, Columbia County.  They moved to Philomath in April, 1897.  Mrs. Newth leaves a husband and three children.
