   Martin Williams, a pioneer of 1852, died at the home of his son Edward, April 22, after a residence of half a century in Benton County. Martin Williams was born in Rock Castle County, Kentucky, in 1824. He was married to Nancy Ann Carter, September 9, 1849, in Mercer County, Missouri. To them were born seven children of whom four are living. His wife died in 1866, when her youngest child was 2 1/2 years of age.
