   Another of Clatskanie's old pioneers died her Wednesday evening, when William Blackford, a Civil War veteran, passed away at his home after a brief illness.  Mr. Blackford was born in Ohio 85 years ago and moved to Oregon at an early date, and first took up his home near Mayger.  A few years ago he moved to Clatskanie.  Funeral services were held Friday.
