John Bonser Oct. 23, 1911; Olympia Record, p 1 "Farmer is Shot by Deer Hunter" Scappoose, Ore., Oct. 23 John Bonser, a farmer, was accidentally shot and almost instantly killed Sunday by his companion, Henry Classenius, Jr., a Portland business man, while they were deer hunting near Rocky Point, about eight miles west of here. Claussenius, after Bonser had expired came to Scappoose where he secured help. Classenius surrendered to the authorities, but was released on his own recognizance. John A.
