Ellen (McNulty) Dart April 11, 1921; Oregonian, p 4 St. Helens, Or., April 10 The funeral of Mrs. Ellen Dart, 74, whose death occurred at Seaside Thursday, was held from the Methodist church here Saturday afternoon under the direction of Mizpah chapter, Eastern Star, of which she was past worthy matron. She was the widow of the late Judge James Dart and a pioneer of Columbia county. With her parents, John and Margaret McNulty, she came to this section in 1850 and settled on the McNulty donation land claim. She had lived in St. Helens for 37 years. She is survived by one son, J. D. Perry of Portland, and two daughters, Mrs. E. F. Younger of Portland and Mrs. C. C. Cassatt of St. Helens. As a mark of respect to the pioneer, all business houses were closed during the funeral hour and flags on public buildings were at half mast.
