"Pioneer of 1850 Dead"

   W. P. McIntire, pioneer of 1850, died yesterday morning in his home at Meadow Brook farm near Rainier, Or., at the age of 71 years.
   Mr. McIntire was born in Adair county, Mo., and came to Oregon with his parents in 1850.  Surviving near relatives are:  Mrs. N. W. McCoy of Oregon City; Mrs. S. Hutchinson of Portland; Mrs. Harry Miller of Rainier; Captain J. M. and R. E. McIntire of Portland, and James McIntire of Rainier.  Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 in Greenwood cemetery.
