   Washington Muckle, 69 years old, Columbia county pioneer, died at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Jacob George, this afternoon.  Mr. Muckle had been a resident of Columbia county since 1874.  He is survived by another sister, Mrs. Annie Cox, also of St. Helens, and three brothers, James and William Muckle of Portland and Robert Muckle of Tennessee.  Mr. Muckle was a member of the Masonic lodge in St. Helens and the funeral will be conducted by members of the order Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock.
