Chaney West

  Chaney West, of Vernonia, Or., who died September 27, and was buried at Banks, Or., his former home, was born in Harford, Md., February 20, 1835, and came to Oregon in November, 1854.  He was married March 7, 1900, to Eva Malmsten, of Hillsboro, Or.  He bought a farm in Washington County in the Fall of 1868, whre he lived until 1903, moving to Portland until 1904, when he moved to Vernonia, Or.  Mr. West had been a member of the M.E. Church since 1903.  He is survived by a wife, two brothers and one sister.
