   Elliott Bond Wood, a pioneer of Oregon, who crossed the plains with an ox team 59 years ago, died at his home here Saturday, June 10.
   Mr. Wood had been ill for eight or nine years, but a stroke of apoplexy was the direct cause of his death.  His widow survives him.
   The funeral was held here Monday.
