   Funeral services for W. J. Usher, 61, will be held here tomorrow afternoon with Rev. Gottlieb Schmid, pastor of The Christian church, as the officiating clergyman.  Burial will be in the local cemetery.
   Usher crossed the plains with his parents at the age of 4, the family first settling in northeastern Oregon.  He had come here from Washington county in 1912 to join his son John.  The only other immediate surviving relative is a sister, Mrs. William Batchelder of Hillsboro.
