Belinda Masterson June 12, 1927; Oregonian, p 24 Mrs. Belinda Masterson, pioneer of 1857, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Delpha Moore, 814 Pine street, Grants Pass, May 29. Funeral services were conducted from hall's funeral home in grants Pass and she was buried in Rock Point cemetery near Gold Hill. She was born near Allenville, Mo., January 4, 1844. With her parents she crossed the plains by ox team in 1857, locating at Red Bluff, Cal. She was married to John W. Masterson March 21, 1858. With her husband and her father's family she moved to Lane county, Oregon, in 1859 and lived there until 1887, when she, with her family, moved to Gold Hill. She had recently been living at the home of her daughter in Grants Pass. She is survived by her daughter, two granddaughters and two great granddaughters. There are also two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Patterson of Foster, Or., and Mrs. Martha Bently of Kelso, Wash.
