Lewis Orme July 28, 1918; Oregonian, p 44 "Pioneer Miner of 50s Dies" Grants Pass, Or., July 27 Lewis Orme, who crossed the plains in 1852 and settled at Corvallis, died at his home on Foots Creek July 24, aged 76. In 1858 Mr. Orme married Annie Lee and came to Southern Oregon, where he engaged in mining. He is survived by his widow and four children: Mrs. Lydia Biggs, Port Stanley, Wash.; Mrs. Ella Warmoth, Sacramento, Cal.; R. J. Orme, Leland, Or., and Grant Orme, Grants Pass.
