William Ruble (my Great-Great
Grandfather) He bought
up several gold mining claims
along Coyote Creek, east of
Wolf Creek and built the now
state park of Golden. The
church still stands and is
listed on the National
Registry of Historic places.
The property is still listed
as the Ruble mining district
on Josephine County Maps.
