John Weaver Feb. 16, 1928; Oregonian, p 14 John Weaver, 65, prominent Malheur county pioneer, died at the Vale sanitarium Monday. He had been in poor health for two years, and it is believed injuries suffered in a recent automobile accident hastened his death. Mr. Weaver was born in Minnesota in 1863. When an infant he crossed the plains with his parents. He lived in Malheur county for 44 years, and at one time was one of the wealthiest cattlemen of the county. He served two terms as county commissioner. Mr. Weaver is survived by his widow and five sons.
