Delia Jane Evans lived in Illinois where she was married on 16 Jan 1873, then in Texas at the beginning of her married life. She lived for a few years near Oland, California in old Colusa County (now Tehama) where her husband Job Craycraft Foster had a ranch and raised wheat. In the late 1880s Delia and Job moved to Oregon, in southern Tillamook County. They owned land near the Little Nestucca River in Meda, not far from the separate properties of Job's brothers Thomas Hartley Foster and Francis Samuel "Frank" Foster. Delia and Job bought a property at Meda. They lived here until their house burned down. They then bought property near Cloverdale, where they maintained a dairy herd. She preceded Job in death. Their daughter Myrtle Foster married a Mr. Gist. When Myrtle's parents died, they were buried in the Gist Family Cemetery in Tillamook County, Oregon.
