Sarah Rinehart April 11, 1897; Oregonian, p 3 Mrs. Sarah Rinehart died April 4, 1897, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Fitzpatrick, near Lostine, Or., of pneumonia, after an illness of only a few days. Mrs. Rinehart was born in Miller county, Missouri, in 1829. In 1844 she was married to Abraham McCubbin. With his wife and three children, Mr. McCubbin moved from Missouri in 1852, to find a home in the far new West. Crossing the plains in that early day by team and wagon, they came as pioneers to Oregon, and made their home in Clackamas county. Mr. McCubbin died in Wasco county in 1882. In 1887 Mrs. McCubbin went to Wallowa county, and the next year was united in marriage with Mr. John Rinehart. Three daughters and one son survive her, all of whom live in Wallowa county.
