   Mrs. J. W. Richards, 83 years old, died at her home in Mitchell last Thursday.  She was born in Virginia and came to Oregon with her husband in 1905.  Since that time her home had been in Mitchell.  She is survived by her husband and two children, George and Fairline Richards of Mitchell.  Funeral services were held in Mitchell at the Methodist church, Rev. Mr. Hazelton of Fossil, conducting ithe service.  The body was buried in the Mitchell cemetery.
