Byrd There are several unmarked graves in this cemetery.
Across the John Day River, which runs through this
area, is Byrd's Point, a well-known landmark
Caleb -
Camp Watson Camp Watson was named for Lt. Stephen Watson, Co. B,
1st Calvary. He is buried in Ft. Vancouver, Washington. Most
of the graves are those of sholdiers who were killed in Indian
skirmishes in the 1860's. Markers were put in place in 1932
by VFW
